"Whoa! This is so cool!"

[The kid has the screen right up to her eye then pulls it back to a more normal distance.]

"I could film all sorts of cool things with this! Like space mummy vampires from Mars! But first I'm gonna need some actors. Oh! I wonder if this thing can call Jumba! Then he can make me all sorts of new actors!"

[Someone was bouncing like she'd had too much sugar.]

"Fine! Then tell me how to help." Or get out of her way.

Sephiroth pondered that. While he knew children were capable of helping problems and that youth could wield Keyblades, he didn’t know if there was anything children could do about this specific situation at this point.

“You can support us while we’re trying to solve this problem. Perhaps try to help some of the misplaced people settle in. They’re likely all confused and upset about what’s happened and would benefit from some kindness from others.”

"You mean babysit the tourists? I'm an experienced 'speriment catcher and rehomer. I don't need busy work!"

Sephiroth gave a bit of an amused smirk again.

"They're not tourists any more than you are. We're all stranded in this together. All of us want to get back to our true places."

[andstitch]

"Fine, then let's work on that instead of babying people!"

[3wingedangel]

"Heh. Well, do you know how portals work?"

He might as well humor her enough to ask, he supposes.

[andstitch]

"Depends on the kind, but I'm sure there was a portal making 'speriament or two."

[3wingedangel]

"Right now we're still trying to figure out what kind these were," he said. "And why others' portal-making abilities are blocked to various degrees. The orb that opened the portals has disappeared."

[andstitch]

"Okay so... take me to the nearest evil genius scientist." She crossed her arms.

[3wingedangel]

"As far as we know, the evil genius scientists in this world are dead," he said. "Any new ones are keeping themselves hidden."

And the horrible thought occurred to him: will people like this Dr. Hojo be brought back too?

[andstitch]

"Then we just hafta find out where they're hiding and make them help."

[3wingedangel]

"And what if they prefer to observe what's happening and not help?" Sephiroth wondered, still amused. She made things sound so simple.

[andstitch]

"We make 'em help. I'm good at that. You'll see."

[3wingedangel]

"Oh, I see." He half-wanted to ask, but he didn't want to give her any inadvertent suggestions. "Well, we'll be sure to call on you when we find them."

[andstitch]

"That's too slow. We should go looking for them."

[3wingedangel]

"And where do you think we might find them?" He was very amused, but he was actually taking her comments under consideration.

[andstitch]

She considered. "We should look for a place where the microwave and toaster keep vanishing." She felt better now that she had a goal.

[3wingedangel]

"Really. That's what the evil scientists do in your world: make kitchen appliances vanish?"

[andstitch]

"Only when he needs parts. Nani said he's not allowed to take apart the car or the fridge anymore."

[3wingedangel]

"Nani is also able to make evil scientists behave?" Amused again.

[andstitch]

She nodded. "Sometimes. She is the one who does the grocery shopping..."

[3wingedangel]

"Your life sounds very interesting." Never a dull moment. He highly doubts she's making all of this up.

[andstitch]

"Grocery shopping... sounds interesting?" That made no sense.

[3wingedangel]

“Dealing with so many evil scientists sounds interesting,” he said. “It sounds like it’s an every day occurrence for you.”

[andstitch]

"Oh it's mostly just my uncle Jumba. Except when Hamsterwheel breaks out of jail. But he's mostly just good at making other people do evil things for him."
