Video - Lilo Has a New Toy

"Whoa! This is so cool!"

[The kid has the screen right up to her eye then pulls it back to a more normal distance.]

"I could film all sorts of cool things with this! Like space mummy vampires from Mars! But first I'm gonna need some actors. Oh! I wonder if this thing can call Jumba! Then he can make me all sorts of new actors!"

[Someone was bouncing like she'd had too much sugar.]

"Then we'll have to go exploring, don't we?"

"Yes, I suppose so."

[He is still amused, and wondering how to keep her from eating far too much candy if they actually do find a candy store. He doesn't consider himself very good with children, even though they seem to like him.]

"Alright! Meet you is the lobby!"

"Very well."

[He heads downstairs to wait, at the same time wondering how Tifa feels about all of this.]

[She rushed down, device in hands, ready to take a photo. Which she does as soon as she sees him. "Cool!"

[Sephiroth smirks a bit. He can’t deny he likes the appreciation of his appearance.]

Hello. I believe we haven’t actually introduced ourselves yet. I am Sephiroth.

[andstitch]

"Aloha! I'm Lilo and this is my do... oh. Right. Stitch isn't here." Her shoulders slumped a moment but then she perked up. "But if we find lots of candy and cake, I bet that'll help him find us!"

"Perhaps," Sephiroth says, amused. "Did you inform Ms. Lockhart you're going out?"

[andstitch]

"I don't even tell Nani when I'm going out unless she sees me. And then usually I just have to explain why I need the chainsaw. Let's go!" she reached up for his hand.

[3wingedangel]

“… Why do you need the chainsaw?”

What kind of environment has this child been growing up in?

[andstitch]

"Mostly it is my dog that needs it. Are we going?"

[3wingedangel]

“… Yes, we’re going.”

Maybe he can get her to talk more as they’re walking. He accepts her hand.

“Alright then, why does your dog need the chainsaw?”

[andstitch]

She walked with, happily holding his hand.

"To fight the big dummy. And sometimes to get in when the door is locked." As if this was all perfectly normal.

The frightening thing was, he supposed that for her, it was indeed normal.

"And who is the 'big dummy'?"

[andstitch]

"His name is Gantu. He tries to collect the 'Speriments to send them to Hamsterwheel" somewhere in space a small rodent is screaming "to use them for evil."

[3wingedangel]

"... Hamsterwheel?"

Now he was picturing a giant hamster wheel.

[andstitch]

"Yeah, he's an evil space gerbil."

[3wingedangel]

Well, that wasn’t what Sephiroth had expected.

“… I see.”

What a strange world. It could be the girl’s vivid imagination, but he’d seen enough strange things to know not to automatically discount this.

“And is Hamsterwheel his home?”

[andstitch]

She was so confused now. "Is the evil gerbil" so much yelling somewhere off in space "who's home?"

[3wingedangel]

Sephiroth had no idea what that meant.

"... Perhaps I misunderstood," he said. "I thought Gantu was an evil gerbil living in a place called Hamsterwheel."

[andstitch]

Lilo laughed. "No, Gantu is a big dummy space alien who works for an evil gerbil named Hamsterwheel. Well... Actually Gantu doesn't work for him any more. At least I don't think so. He became a captain again when my dog decided he didn't want the BRB anymore."

[3wingedangel]

"... Ah. The BRB?"

What a bizarre story.

[andstitch]

"Yep, the Big Red Battleship! My dog was made captain for being a hero an all, but in th nd he decided his place was with his Ohana."

[3wingedangel]

"You have a very interesting dog."

He was mostly playing along with that. If Stitch was who he remembered, that wasn't any dog.
