Video - Lilo Has a New Toy

[andstitch]

"Whoa! This is so cool!"

[The kid has the screen right up to her eye then pulls it back to a more normal distance.]

"I could film all sorts of cool things with this! Like space mummy vampires from Mars! But first I'm gonna need some actors. Oh! I wonder if this thing can call Jumba! Then he can make me all sorts of new actors!"

[Someone was bouncing like she'd had too much sugar.]

“Heh. I’m not. But I might get along with her.”

"Maybe. But she already has a boyfriend and we're keeping him. So you can just be a brother, okay?"

Even more amused. “A brother is fine.”

He definitely isn’t looking for any romantic attachments.

"Okay then!" A bright smile.

They get up to the counter and Sephiroth orders the ice cream, two scoops of mint chocolate chip for Lilo and one scoop of chocolate for himself.

"Only one for you?" she asked, looking at him, curiously.

[3wingedangel]

"For now. Perhaps I'll want to try another flavor later," he said.

[andstitch]

"We can try all the flavors together!"

[3wingedangel]

Amused, Sephiroth said, “At least we could start on it.”

Of course they couldn’t eat them all in one sitting, even if Lilo thought she could.

[andstitch]

"And continue it, and finish it, and then start all over again!"

[3wingedangel]

"Let's focus on these first," Sephiroth says, and leads her to a booth by a window to sit and eat.

[andstitch]

"Okay! Let's devour the ice cream!"

Sephiroth eats at a fairly peaceful pace, just relaxing and letting his thoughts wander a bit.

[andstitch]

She ate at the pace of a child who is immune to brain freeze actually enjoys brain freeze.

"Owwwww," she held her head. "Brain freeze!"

She flopped dramatically across the table. "Becoming.... ice.... zombie...." she groaned.

That definitely startled Sephiroth back to the present. He watched, deadpanning as he ate.

"... What does that feel like?" he wondered. He honestly never experienced brain freeze.

[andstitch]

She blinked and turned her head to look up at him. "Becoming an ice zombie?"

[3wingedangel]

"Brain freeze," he said. "Zack spoke of it, but I've never had such a sensation."

[andstitch]

"We need more ice cream! Lots! And you need to eat it quickly. We can race!"

[3wingedangel]

Well, he should have expected an answer like that. "Wouldn't you rather just enjoy the ice cream? I prefer savoring it over experiencing this ... brain freeze."

Probably why he never has.

[andstitch]

"I enjoy it and get the brain freeze!"

[3wingedangel]

"You take enjoyment in unusual things."

[andstitch]

"If you never had it, how can you know you wont enjoy it?" Which was what Nani always asked her about the weird new recipes she tried sometimes. So either he'd agree and try it... or she'd learn a new way to say no to Nani! Win win!

"Heh. Technically I can't, although the way Zack described it never made it sound particularly fun."

[andstitch]

"But the way I do, it does sound fun. Cause it is! So you should try it!"

[3wingedangel]

"Hm. We seem to have different definitions of fun."
